The Homage Page and Poll : Where Was Jinn?

HOMAGE
A new feature is being added to the site. As many of you have noticed, I am mixing in a few subtle (and some not-so-subtle) references to other books, movies, tv shows, and anime into Choose.
It’s my hope that none of those homages detract from the story, and my desire that no one needs to catch any of them in order to enjoy Choose…
…but for some, it’s fun to search for them.
Slowly (painfully so) I will be adding new chapters to the Homage page, with hints as to which have been found and which have not. Feel free to play along!

Holy cow…I’m voting with the majority, for once!
I like the idea of the homages, but I’m afraid I won’t be playing: I rarely watch movies, and don’t remember much detail of those I do watch. As for TV…even less. :)

I am amused at the following this sprinkle option is getting. It seems half of you are looking for a serious response, and half of you want a sprinkling of absurdity.
