Homage Update

Chapter 1 of the Homage Page has been completed.

I missed Lord Snow’s catch of the Hellsing reference when I originally put the page together, but I’ve correctly attributed it now. Only one reference wasn’t found, and it’s not one I would really have expected someone to get. It was more than a little subtle AND obscure.

Chapter 2′s references have been cataloged and the four missing (yup, that’s right. FOUR missing!) references have hints attached to them. In a week or so, I’ll update that chapter’s Homage page with the unfound ones and start looking in the rest of them.

I think this is the heaviest reference chapter I did. There will be a lot later where I was just plotting and didn’t have time to add in references, so I don’t expect them to appear in every one. =]

Assassins and…Pastries?

Well, it looks like Jinn was most definitely battling his own assassins, and he might have some suspiciously rainbow-colored sprinkles in his robe, as well. (11 to 10 votes)

I cannot promise a new installment on Tuesday. Things at work are heating up, and I’ve got a nasty head cold besideswhich. If the project at work reaches a peacable solution by Friday, Choose may yet happen on Tuesday, but I promise nothing.

The Homage Page and Poll : Where Was Jinn?

HOMAGE

A new feature is being added to the site. As many of you have noticed, I am mixing in a few subtle (and some not-so-subtle) references to other books, movies, tv shows, and anime into Choose.

It’s my hope that none of those homages detract from the story, and my desire that no one needs to catch any of them in order to enjoy Choose…

…but for some, it’s fun to search for them.

Slowly (painfully so) I will be adding new chapters to the Homage page, with hints as to which have been found and which have not. Feel free to play along!
