“Handsome Hank” McCoy lifted his hand, silently ordering another drink. He slouched deeper into the battered wooden chair and stared morosely at his beer.
“Your reaction is unreasonable.” His companion’s deep, almost metallic voice radiated disapproval.
Hank lifted the heavy glass mug and took a long pull of the amber liquid before setting the glass down heavily on the wooden tabletop. “So? You’re reasonable enough for the both of us.”
“Your current course of action is not likely to result in the repossession of our ship.”
Hank’s lips twitched. “Fair enough. You stand over there and be reasonable. I’ll sit over here and be unreasonable. First person to get the ship back, wins.”

Poll closed on Wednesday, as scheduled. The winner was the drunken, nearsighted bashing with the beer mug.
I DO have half of a draft up for the next Choose post, but it’s not complete yet. No new poll yet, as there’s no new content to vote on!

In other news, we have a shiny new widget on the sidebar!
The hubby declared it too difficult to tell when polls were opening and closing and when writing would be posted, and I concurred.
I’ll be putting notable events on the calendar as soon as I know when they’ll be, and you can just mouseover the days to find out when things are planned.
Hopefully, that’ll help keep the confusion in check, and those of you who visit here manually instead of using a feed reader should have an easier time of it.
For example, you may note that I have a new chapter posting planned for Tuesday.
