Will you write a secondary option for me? I really want to know what would have happened if the vote had gone a different way!

Short answer: No.

Long answer: *sound of screaming, doors slamming, car starting, engine revving, and tires squealing off into the distance*

Um. No.

I write a lot. I write for blogs, I write with friends, I write my own stuff that I hope to get professionally published. And writing is only one of my hobbies.

In order to keep Choose moving forward at a reasonable pace, there are some things that I absolutely have to draw the line at, and one of those things is playing the “What if?” game.

The moment I start down that road, I am doomed. Absolutely doomed.

If I had unlimited time to write this, I almost certainly would do so. On my limited writing budget, I simply cannot justify the time it would take to write the scene that got the second-most number of votes.

And, horror of horrors, what if people liked it BETTER than the first one? Creating alternate realties is worse than time travel, and we all know that time travel is heinously immoral. Wantonly stepping into the time stream and twiddling about with people’s lives is grounds for immediate relocation to the nearest facility for the criminally insane.

No, dear reader. If you’d like to know what happened if she had chosen the Earl Gray tea instead of the Chamomile, you will simply have to use your imagination.

*grins* And isn’t that grand?
