I have confirmation that all of my gift art has reached the various hands for whom it is intended. Time to share!
Yarn Ferret
I’d intended to color this one, but the more I look at ferrets, the more I find myself unhappy with my ferret anatomy here. Expect more (and more accurate) ferret art soon. =]
Bulldog With A Balloon
No, I don’t know why I keep giving animals balloons. No, I don’t intend to stop doing it. This is P’ville Girl’s incredibly photogenic and gorgeous bulldog, done as part of a pre-agreed-upon Christmas gift exchange.
Bad Kitteh Bubbles
A gift for my good friend Bad Kitteh, with an in-joke thrown in about the plastic bubble.
Canary Eater
Another for Bad Kitteh – once I had the sketch down, I had to finish it.
Bubblewolf
A series of concept sketches for a video game Mr. Moore is designing.
And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is the last of my art from 2009.

*jealous* these are so great.
@Byrd
Why jealous? It’s long-term work to learn to draw, but it’s not impossible! Just takes commitment to strive to improve!
Hehe, I know, I actually took a lot of art classes when I was younger. My wife keeps telling me to take it back up, I’m just a lazy guy. Not to mention, I love admiring your great work.
That video game looks adorable!
@Byrd
I promise to still post mine even if you take it back up. ;)
@KristenSue
I know! I want to play it! The game design is awesomesauce. At low levels, you collect candies and bubbles to power up your character.
Soo…what does the yak (clearly a buffalo) say if you squeeze it? I still have that yak (again, still a buffalo) on my desk.
@Brad-o
This is where I bemoan the lack of a blog during that time period. I remember a yak/buffalo and I remember it being hilarious enough to bring me to tears, but I can’t for the life of me recall any details.
Remind me?
@Tami
It goes, “Yaaaaaakk!” The picture of the buffalo just reminded me of it — in fact, they’re striking similar.
@Brad-o
*laughs* That sounds about right.
