A month or so ago, I publicly pondered about whether or not to do NaNoWriMo this year.
I’d all but decided to go ahead and participate when I realized that November this year is going to be a heavy workload at my day job, and the kind of additional energy and time commitment required by NaNoWriMo might actually send me plummeting over the edge of insanity.
I made the announcement in the most recent Saucy Wenches episode, but it occurs to me that not everyone listens, and some of you might be interested in the end of that particular question.
No NaNoWriMo for me, this year, but I will be cheerfully waving my pompoms and throwing confetti for those brave folks diving into the contest!
For just a fleeting moment there I thought you had changed your mind.

Ah, if only. Everyone joining in this year is really giving me the itch to do so!
I was thinking about it but this pregnancy is really taking all the energy out of me. I’m going to pitch it to a friend to get her interested and just live vicariously through her maybe.

You could also do a HalfNoWriMo – try for 25k words instead of 50k. =]
