…yeah, the title kinda says it all. Why a manatee? And why with a balloon?

The world may never know.

I HIGHLY recommend you checking out Ursula Vernon. She’s my hero.

  • I love the little heart at the end of the string on the balloon, the starfish looks like it’s trying to get close and give him a hug. This is cute.

  • @Byrd
    <3 You noticed the heart!

    Thank you!

  • I love this!!

    ^_^ Thank you!

  • He’s obviously using the balloon to float. His adorable little paddle tail needs a rest! *squishes*

I would love to see this colored – I’m seeing those barely visible pencil lines around his belly and assuming that would be where his color pattern changes, and I can’t help but hope that you’ll be revisiting this little fella c:

  • Why a manatee? Well, why the heck not?

  • @Michael

  • Wow, so adorable! That would make a great shirt!

<3 Thanks! I do wish I could find a place like spreadshirt or cafepress that did…say…$5 shirts instead of $20 shirts.

I could see this being $5 worth of cute, but not $20 plus shipping worth of cute.

It’s all written out in the cuteometer graphophilic pie charts somewhere, I’m sure of it.
